Chant Intensive Course – October 4, 2025

Join us for a Chant Intensive Course on Saturday, October 4th, from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM at the Parochial Offices. This workshop is perfect for anyone interested in learning more about the Church’s tradition of sacred music. We will cover:

• Church Legislation on Chant – what the Church teaches about its place in the liturgy
• How to Read Plainsong – learn to read square notes and understand rhythm
• Execution of Simple Chants – practical singing exercises

Whether you are new to chant or looking to deepen your knowledge, this course will equip you to participate more fully in the sung prayer of the Church. Lunch will be provided and a free will offering will be taken to cover the cost.
